Dr Michael Dawson has been lecturing at City Banking College since April 2006.  He is a specialist in Research Methods and has a PhD from the London School of Economics.  He also has extensive experience of management, having worked for 16 years in the UK civil service, the last three of which were in the prestigious Senior Civil Service.  Among other jobs, he worked on railway privatisation, the part-privatisation of the London Underground and rail regulation, as well as being project manager of a multi-million pound project to centralise and streamline finance and HR services in the Department for Transport and its agencies.
